The Nonprofit Gateway

Keeping you connected

Welcome

The City of Jacksonville’s Nonprofit Gateway website provides easy, one-stop access to a wealth of information, tools, and resources that nonprofits need for partnering with the City of Jacksonville. The Nonprofit Gateway was designed by the Office of Strategic Partnerships within the Office of the Mayor to create a simplified navigation system to help nonprofit partners access the assistance needed to help support organizational goals and promote partnerships.

The Office of Strategic Partnerships, created by Mayor Lenny Curry, leads the mayoral priority of aligning the public, private and philanthropic sectors around common goals. Nonprofits play a critical and essential role in the vibrance of a community, and the City of Jacksonville is proud to partner with local nonprofit agencies to create better outcomes for all Duval County residents.

February 06, 2019
Expanding youth apprenticeship is a strategy for building a more inclusive economy by connecting the learning needs of students with the talent needs of industry. Leaders from industry, education, and government in cities, states, and regions across the country are well-positioned to build public-private partnerships to scale youth apprenticeship opportunities across industry sectors, including advanced manufacturing, finance and professional services, healthcare, information technology, and more.

To support these efforts of leaders in cities, states, and regions across the country, the Partnership to Advance Youth Apprenticeship (PAYA) is accepting applicants for the PAYA Grant Initiative.   Deadline to apply is March 8, 2019 11:59 p.m.
