The Nonprofit Gateway

Keeping you connected

Welcome

As an outcome of the recommendations by the Mayor’s Transition subcommittee on City/Not-for-Profit Interface team, Mayor Curry created the Office of Strategic Partnerships and dedicated a Director position in his office with the vision of aligning the public, private and philanthropic sectors around common goals. The Mayor recognizes the importance of the philanthropic and nonprofit sector in a vibrant community, and he understands that a strong, civic-minded community values strategically collaborating to create impact. With increasing community needs and stretched resources, it is critical that communities effectively leverage the human, fiscal, social, and political capital of municipalities.
