The Office of Grants and Compliance works to obtain federal, state and private funding to increase the City of Jacksonville's capacity and capability to provide services to residents.

Grants Office Functions

  • Promote collaboration between City departments, authorities and offices
  • Foster partnerships between the public, private and nonprofit sectors
  • Serve as a resource for City departments during grant research, award and management

The Grants Office also serves as a liason for providing government Letters of Support, issues Public Service Grants and manages the Richard A. McKissick Memorial DAWN Program.

Duval County arts and cultural organizations interested in applying to the 2019-2020 Cultural Service Grant Program should submit a Letter of Intent form to the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville by the Tuesday, March 5, 2019 deadline.  New applicants to the Cultural Service Grant Program may access the Letter of Intent form through the Cultural Council website

Florida Counts Census 2020 Training Session in Jacksonville

In partnership with the U.S. Census Bureau, Mayor Lenny Curry and his administration launched the Duval Counts Complete Count Committee. The City is working with strategic partners to use their natural communication and partnership routes to deliver the 2020 Census message and to create momentum and engagement for member participation and response. One of these strategic partners is the Florida Nonprofit Alliance. They will be hosting a Census Training Session on Wednesday, March 4th for nonprofits, organizations and individuals.
