RFP: Mayor's Youth at Work Partnership

Kids Hope Alliance has made funds available for an organization to provide effective Mayor’s Youth at Work Partnership (MYAWP) programming serving a minimum of 300 youth. Additional funds will be made available exclusively for youth salaries. Closing Date: Wednesday, February 24, 2021.  
City to Offer Free FLU Vaccinations at Select COVID-19 Testing Sites
November 16, 2020
Beginning Monday, November 16th, the City of Jacksonville and Logistics Health Inc. will provide free flu vaccinations to residents of Duval County and all City employees. The flu shots will be administered Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Lane Wiley Senior Center, 6710 Wiley Road – 32210, and Mandarin Senior Center, 3848 Hartley Road – 32257. 
2021-2022 Universal Grant Application

The City of Jacksonville’s Neighborhoods Department, Housing and Community Development Division (HCDD), announced that the 2021 – 2022 Universal Application will be available beginning Friday, December 4, 2020 and will be due on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 5:00pm. 
FY2020-21 Neighborhood Matching Grants Program

The application for the City of Jacksonville’s Fiscal Year 2020-21 Matching Grant Program is now available.The program is designed to give financial assistance to registered neighborhood organizations who are interested in reducing blight and enhancing their community. Applications are due on or before December 14, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.  
 
The Community Foundation Launches the Respond/Adapt/Recover Fund

The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida is offering grants to nonprofit organizations in Northeast Florida experiencing economic hardships related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Foundation’s Respond/Adapt/Recover Fund will assist eligible nonprofit organizations with reimbursement for re-opening costs and/or expenses associated with safely maintaining operations during the pandemic according to health guidelines. Applications are due on November 2, 2020.
Food Security Funding Opportunity

The Florida Blue Foundation recently refreshed its strategic plan, and updated objectives and focus areas. The Foundation will focus its funding priorities on these three areas that have a significant impact on the health of Floridians: Food Security, Health Equity and Mental Well-Being. The latest grant opportunity is in the Food Security program area. Food Security - Deadline to submit:  August 28, 2020, 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)

Cultural Service Grant Program - Letters of Intent Due March 4, 2020

2020 Neighborhood Awards Program Application - Due March 6, 2020

The City of Jacksonville's Neighborhoods Department is now accepting applications for the 2020 Neighborhood Awards Competition. The theme of this year's award is "Make it a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood." The program is designed to recognize the efforts of organized and registered neighborhood groups in the City of Jacksonville that have excelled in areas of clean-ups and other projects and activities that benefit the community or physically improve Jacksonville's neighborhoods. In addition, the first Regulatory Officer of the Year Award will be given to an individual that has exceeded customer expectations to serve the community in an official or volunteer capacity. All nominations must be received or postmarked by March 6, 2020.
