Kids Hope Alliance Funding Opportunity - Due March 13, 2020
The Kids Hope Alliance is accepting bids for the One City One Jacksonville, Criminal Justice & Safe Neighborhoods Small Grant Program (ESC-0406-20). Kids Hope Alliance is seeking proposals from neighborhood organizations that can demonstrate a willingness and readiness to provide programs designed to prevent crime or make our neighborhoods safer. The program objectives are to provide prevention and intervention programs to address youth crime and aid in making the neighborhood safer.
The estimated amount of funds for the One City. One Jacksonville – Small Grant Program, which is funded from the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act (FCFA) is $50,000. Funds may be used for crime prevention programs, safe neighborhoods programs, drug abuse education or drug prevention programs in the summer 2020.
The Kids Hope Alliance intends to make at least five awards until all funds have been depleted. This funding is prioritized to agencies with an annual budget of less than $100,000. The maximum funding is $10,000. The fee amount is based on the total cost to provide activities that meet the program objectives.
There will be two trainings which will review this opportunity in more detail. The following trainings are not mandatory but encouraged: February 18th from 9:00am - 11:00am, February 19th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, or February 24th 10:00am - 12:00pm.
