Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG)
ESGs assist homeless persons by providing safe and sanitary shelter in addition to financial assistance and essential social services necessary to improve their situations. Jacksonville funds are directed toward supporting homeless activities that include shelter; meals; medical, dental, and mental health care; social services; job training; and employment services. In addition, ESG funds are used for rental and utility assistance to prevent persons from becoming homeless. Click here to access the Universal Application and here for general information.
